charmaine yap

is a filmmaker, photographer, and designer. She graduated with a BA (Honours) degree in Broadcast & Cinema Studies  at NTU Wee Kim Wee School. She first worked 3 years as a freelance producer, camera operator and photographer. The Singapore Youth Olympics Games was her first professional assignment. In 2013, she decided to join Wee Han in making films and producing cinematic visuals through Tripeaksimagery.

In 2014, she clinched the Singapore Youth Photographer Award Overall Winner with 5 images, one of which is of the treacherous waves in Iceland. Since then, she has had her images published in The New Paper, Canon Academy Magazine and has been featured on The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao and online new platforms such as Yahoo SG. To date, she has shot, directed and produced close to 18 short films, and more than 40 projects.
